Please allow 1.5 hours for your consultation and bespoke yoga session. I send your lesson plan subsequently via email to aid your home practice. I spend around 2 hours on each unique yoga therapy or private yoga session focusing solely on you.

Appointments are offered in my yoga room in Wendover or via Skype and cost £75 for 90 minutes.

Private Yoga Classes

Private yoga classes are tailored entirely to your needs and at a time and frequency to suit you. This can be useful when your schedule doesn’t allow for regular class attendance, to support a home practice, or to focus on and deepen a particular area of your practice.

Yoga Therapy

Although ordinary yoga classes can improve general health and resolve mild complaints, they may be ineffective, or even harmful, for certain conditions.

Yoga therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of Yoga.

Yoga cultivates body/mind integration and can improve flexibility, strength, breathing, posture, balance, co-ordination, concentration and relaxation and help to manage stress, pain and fatigue. Yoga may therefore support a whole variety of conditions, including:

  • Mental and emotional wellbeing including stress, depression, anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders, addiction, postnatal depression, burnout, etc.

  • Pain disorders such as migraine, neck pain, back pain and sciatica.

  • Recovery from injury and surgery.

  • Recovery from illness, such as stroke, heart attack and cancer.

  • Supporting functional disorders such as chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, IBS, insomnia, etc.

  • Supporting autoimmune illnesses such as Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Parkinson’s, Crohn’s, etc.

  • Working safely with chronic illness such as heart disease, arthritis, osteoporosis, etc.

  • Improving breathing disorders such as asthma, bronchitis, and COPD.

  • To help manage blood sugar and blood pressure.

  • Weight management as part of a healthy lifestyle.

  • Specialist pregnancy, birthing & postnatal yoga.

  • To manage the symptoms of menopause and indeed any change of life.

  • To support wellbeing and quality of life as we age and at end of life.

  • And more!

With both initial and ongoing assessment you will practice under the supervision of your yoga therapist and also given a suitable practice to do at home. No previous experience of yoga is necessary.

Yoga Therapy is complementary to Medicine and should not be viewed as a substitute for a medical diagnosis or the services of a physician. Yoga Therapy can be practiced in conjunction with medical treatments being received and also in tandem with other complementary therapies.
