Frank’s Yoga Practice Is Progressing...

Frank’s yoga practice has come a long way since he was a kitten.
He’s a year old this month, and yesterday my daughter took this photo of him doing exactly the same pose as me.
And no, it wasn’t staged!
I was practising on my mat when Frank came over and settled himself beside me. He even managed the same Mermaid Pose (Eka Pada Rajakapotasana), looking up at me as though he was listening very carefully to my instructions.
I think he may have been watching me more closely than I realised.
He’s certainly progressed beyond Cat Pose (Marjaryasana)!
Perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised. Yoga is, after all, about finding a comfortable position, breathing, being present in the moment and not worrying too much about what anyone else is doing.
Frank seems to have mastered that part already.
I’m not sure he’ll be joining my classes just yet, but I have a feeling he may be keeping a close eye on my practice from now on.
Frank’s yoga philosophy: find a mat, get comfortable and enjoy the moment. 🐾
Happy yoga practice!
